On October 28, 2021, a dissemination meeting at Mykolo Romerio Universitetas (Vilnius, Lithuania), was organized. It took place on October 11-15 within the framework of the EU-funded InterADIS project (Erasmus + KA2 SVNE). The best practices of adaptation and integration of foreign students at Mykolo Romerio Universitetas and their comparison with identical processes at SNAU were discussed at the meeting.
Among the issues discussed were the following:
– Well-organized IT support, at the stage of admission, training and adaptation of foreign students;
– The ratio and synergy of the relationship between exchange students and those who receive a diploma;
– Self-organization of students (unions, mentoring program, ESN);
– Organizational structure in action, the ratio of different departments and staff functions related to work with foreign students;
– Program of ambassadors;
– Features of work with foreign students at the third level of higher education (graduate school);
– Introductory week, orientation, activities of student tutors, social and cultural integration, student experience.
The participants of the seminar identified the priority steps to improve these processes in SNAU, as well as the next steps in the implementation of the InterADIS project in SNAU.
