Sumy National Agrarian University together with Poltava National Agrarian University are starting to deepen and expand cooperation under the terms of the agreement signed on March 27, 2024.
The delegation of PNAU, headed by Rector Oleksandr HALYCH, visited Sumy NAU to study the experience of forming a modern material and technical base of the educational process through cooperation with agribusiness, to discuss the possibilities of joining forces to develop academic exchange and research.
The signed agreement was the first step towards new opportunities for both universities, which have extensive experience in education, research and development of the agricultural sector in Ukraine.
The document envisages joint research, finding ways to improve the educational programs implemented by both universities, implementing international grants and research projects, etc.
Volodymyr LADYKA, Rector of Sumy National Agrarian University, says that such cooperation will be a step forward in the development of education and science in the agricultural sector of Ukraine:
“I am sure that step by step we will help each other and develop cooperation. It is important for us that we support each other and support the agricultural sector of Ukraine’s economy.”
Oleksandr HALYCH, Rector of Poltava National Agrarian University, outlined the results of the existing cooperation between the educational institutions:
“We have a lot to talk about in the context of our future cooperation. We have a lot to talk about, considering the history of our cooperation: between students, staff, and scientists. We have helped each other, we are helping each other and we will continue to help each other.”
At the end of the working visit, the delegation of the PNAU was given a tour of the newly created Business School and classrooms of the Faculty of Economics and Management, laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, and a training ground, as well as a tour of the bomb shelters.
