THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL OF 28TH OF JUNE 2023

A planned Academic Council was held in Sumy NAU on June 28, 2023.

Before they started reports on the agenda plan, Chairman of the Academic Council, Rector of Sumy National Agrarian University Volodymyr LADYKA congratulated the staff of the educational institution on Constitution Day: “Constitution Day is an extremely important day. Ukraine fought hard for statehood. There were even periods when it was lost. I congratulate you and hope that the victory will be in the near future. It is difficult to overestimate the uniqueness of our state. We have grounds for development. Historically, we have the most developed intellectual potential. We have something to be proud of. ”

Volodymyr LADYKA  presented the Diploma of Candidate of Economic Sciences to Serhii PASKO, who is the head of the Mykolaiv territorial community and a graduate of Sumy National Agrarian University.

In addition, the rector presented a gratitude of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to Maryna SAMILYK, head of the Department of Technology and Food Safety of Sumy NAU, for initiative and hard work, high professionalism, performance of official duties and a significant contribution to the development of education and science of Ukraine.

The participants considered competitive cases on awarding the academic title of Professor of the Department of Administrative and Information Law to Ivan KRAVCHENKO and on awarding the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Landscape and Forestry to Maryna SHERSTIUK. The counting commission consisting of Anatolii ROZUMENKO, Nataliia KOLODNENKO and Nataliia MAKARENKO summed up the results of the vote. The decision was made unanimously.

The following issues were on the agenda:

  1. Information on the fulfilment of contractual obligations by teachers (reported by: Vice-Rector of academic and educational work Ihor KOVALENKO).
  2. On the preparation of the University for the 2023-2024 academic year (reported by: Vice-Rector of academic and educational work Ihor KOVALENKO; co-rapporteur: Vice-Rector of academic work Mykola KOVALENKO).
  3. On approval of personal scholarships based on the results of the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year (reported by: Head of the Academic Department Nataliia KOLODNENKO).
  4. On the implementation of decisions of the Academic Council in 2022 (reported by: Secretary of the Academic Council Yevheniia SAMOKHINA).
  5. Miscellaneous.

After listening to the speakers, the members of the Academic Council made appropriate decisions, which were protocol-certified.
