THE FIRST IN UKRAINE PLASTICKCHALLENGEHACKATHON2021 WILL TAKE PLACE IN SNAU AND IT INVITES FOR PARTICIPATION

The event is a part of the project “Production and Spreading of Circular Economy in Ukraine in Accordance with the EU Action Plan”. This project co-financed by the European Union under the Jean Monnet Erasmus + program and is a partner event of the EU Green Week 2021.
Participants and teams of teachers, scientists, young researchers, students, pupils, representatives of public organizations and business are invited to participate in the hackathon. During the event they will be able to listen to the speeches of experts in the field of ecology, recycling and upcycling, learn about the success stories of startups, develop and present their own projects.
There some approximate subjects of the hackathon:
• Plastics based on biodegradable materials;
• Biodegradable and compostable end products;
• The use of by-products of agricultural production and food waste in bioplastics technologies;
• Recycling technologies of non-biodegradable polymers;
• Technologies of separate collection and sorting of polymer waste;
• Innovative solutions to prevent microplastic contamination;
• Technologies of collection and processing of polymer waste accumulated in the oceans;
• Technologies of processing polymer waste accumulated in the environment;
• Additive technologies of the alternative plastics production;
• Innovative upcycling solutions, and others.
