Rector of Sumy National Agrarian University, Volodymyr LADYKA, paid a working visit to the University of Wienstephan-Triesdorf (HSWT), located in Germany.

SNAU rector’s visit to Germany

Together with his colleagues, Volodymyr LADYKA worked at the rector’s conference, which became the first such large-scale event in the post-pandemic period. Among the main issues raised: the development of double degree programs, the development of PhD programs and others.

During the stay, an agreement was reached to hold an open lecture by HSWT rector Dr. Eric Veulliet on the topic “Risks of management” and holding a seminar on the implementation of dual education in Europe.

Cooperation of SNAU and HSWT

The cooperation of the Sumy National Agrarian University with the University of Wienstephan-Triesdorf is distinguished by its activity and success and dates back to 2002. In particular, students of our educational institution have the opportunity to study virtually at a foreign institution during the semester, and also take part in a summer school in Germany (see the link: https://snau.edu.ua/studenti-snau-vzyali-uchast-v -litnij-shkoli-use-of-digital-teaching-tools-at-the-hswt/). The universities jointly implement the double degree program “Administrative Management”, which is accredited by the European agency ACQUIN.

On several occasions, the SNAU delegation visited the University of Wienstephan-Triesdorf in order to acquire the knowledge and experience of the European institution of higher education, and HSWT representatives held open lectures and seminars for Ukrainian teachers and students, mainly on the basis of the Faculty of Economics and Management.

In addition, it is worth noting that the rector of HSWT Dr. Eric Veulliet, who will very soon hold an open lecture as part of the agreement, has the title “Honorary Professor of the Sumy National Agrarian University”.
