THE WORLD-FAMOUS SPANISH ARCHITECT MANUEL NUNEZ YANOWSKY VISITED SNAU

At the initiative of the Director of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Sumy Regional State Administration Volodymyr Bykov and with the support of the Rector Volodymyr Ladyka, a meeting with the world-famous Spanish architect Manuel Nunez-Yanowsky – the Spanish architect-urbanist, the author of dozens of architectural projects around the world was held in SNAU. The houses built by the architect are around the world: in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Georgia, Algeria, Congo and Russia. This meeting was an unforgettable event for both future architects and civil engineers, because the combination of these two areas is the key to creation of modern comfortable urban environment.

Manuel Nunez-Yanowsky gave an incredibly interesting professional lecture with a presentation of his own work – took the time to describe his author’s projects implemented in different countries, analysed the ideology of the concept and constructive solution of these objects, told about his creative path, focused on his own biography to let specialists understand the philosophy of the architectural environment and what exactly influenced his formation as a future artist in the field of architecture and urban planning.

Everyone was impressed by the meeting and thanked the artist for an interesting and informative report.

We hope that this meeting will inspire students-architects and civil engineers to future creative achievements and to work in tandem of two specialties.
