During the session of the Sumy Regional Council held on March 29, the chairman of the Sumy Regional Council presented awards of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to four residents of Sumy region. Among the awardees is a representative of Sumy National Agrarian University.
Ihor KOVALENKO, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Research and Academic Affairs of the SNAU, was awarded a diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for his significant personal contribution to the educational and scientific spheres of the state, outstanding social and political activity, services to the Ukrainian people in promoting the establishment and strengthening of Ukraine as a democratic, social, and legal state, and for taking measures to ensure the rights and freedoms of citizens.
