On the 30th of June, 2021 at 10.30-12.30 (Kyiv time) an online webinar on digital trends in higher education will take place. The workshop will focus on an overview of the dynamic development of digital trends in higher education, which will play an important role in teaching and learning in universities this decade. It will present examples of good practice from around the world.

Particular attention will be paid to hybrid courses, microcredit, artificial intelligence, open educational resources, teaching analysis tools and quality assurance of online teaching and learning. Part of the seminar will be the announcement of a competition for participation in the international conference DisCo2021 “Active Learning in the Digital Age: How Digital Tools Contribute to Conscious, Open, Creative and Socially Oriented Thinking” (6-7 September 2021).

Speaker: Jan Beseda, Doctor of Philosophy, Head of the National Center for Distance Education of the Center for Higher Education Research of the Czech Republic.
