Traditionally, the Council of rectors of higher education institutions of Sumy region holds a regular meeting before the start of the new academic year to discuss urgent work issues.
Recently, the members of the Council of Rectors gathered at Sumy National Agrarian University to make a decision on the following issues of the agenda:
- About the participation of students, scientific and pedagogical staff of higher education institutions in the survey within the framework of the implementation of the All-Ukrainian mental health program “How are you?” (reported by Victoriia HROBOVA);
- About the involvement of students majoring in “Psychology” in the implementation of the All-Ukrainian mental health program “How are you?” (presented by Victoriia HROBOVA and rectors of higher education institutions) ;
Victoriіa HROBOVA, Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Sumy Regional State Administration, introduced to the audience the new regional coordinator of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program, Zhanna Sydorenko, who is already an adviser to the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration in this field. In addition, she emphasized that the work will be joint with higher education institutions of different parts of the country, because the program united all universities of Ukraine. The work is led by the coordination centre under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Based on the results of the discussion, those present made decisions that were recorded in minutes.
The All-Ukrainian mental health program “How are you?” was created this year on the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena ZELENSKA.
