Sumy region was visited by the Minister of Community and Territorial Development OleksiiChernyshov. Sumy region was the first to face the enemy and suffered much from significant damage during the fighting. According to the Minister, the common task of the regional leadership and the country as a whole is to eliminate the consequences of the enemy’s military actions.
It is necessary to repair and restore houses, to provide all housing and communal services in the usual way.
In the near future Sumy region will receive the first UAH 250 million from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Work will begin only on demined areas. Credit of the objects in need of restoration areMalovystorop and Sumy colleges of SNAU.
During his visit to the region, OleksiiChernyshov also visited Sumy National Agrarian University. The official was pleasantly impressed by the material and technical base of the institution, which is used in educational and scientific processes.
According to the rector of the university VolodymyrLadyka, in the pre-war period SNAU was maximally integrated into the development of territorial communities. Today, the complex potential in agriculture, food industry, constructionshould be used for the development of Sumy region.
