SNAU DELEGATION RETURNED FROM THE INTERNATIONAL PROJECT WHICH WAS HELD IN TURKEY

“Journey to the Centre of the Earth” is the name of the project organized by Hitit Archeology Club – a club for the study of archaeology, created at the Department of the University of the same name in Ankara.

The project involved more than 20 participants from 4 countries – teams from Ukraine, Romania, Serbia and Turkey. During the week participants of the cultural exchange studied the features of Turkey’s archaeological heritage, visited historical sites and monuments, established intercultural dialogue and communication, learned about the cultural features of the participating countries and prepared presentations about their own countries. The mission of the Sumy National Agrarian University delegation was not only to tell about Ukraine, but also to present its free economic zones and share experiences of participating in similar international programs.

The project program included tours of famous places.

Activities conducted for the expedition members are aimed at caring for the environment, awareness of the growing importance of cultural and archaeological heritage, development of team building skills, improving foreign language skills, promoting the development of participants as citizens nationally and internationally.

At the award ceremony, all participants received Youthpass certificates from Erasmus +, confirming the official successful completion of the international project.
