On January 27 the members of the Academic Council of Sumy National Agrarian University held the
meeting headed by the university rector, academician Volodymyr Ladyka.
Before moving on to the items on agenda, the Academic Council voted to amend the governing body. In
accordance with the decision of student self-government bodies it will include E. Ulko, S. Riazantseva, V.
Hapon. The first report on the results of the scientific work in 2019 and the perspectives for 2020 was made
by the Vice-Rector for Research Work Yurii Danko. The deans of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology
and the Faculty of Agrotechnologies and Natural Resource Management – Mykhailo Dovzhyk and Ihor
Kovalenko spoke on the achievements of 2019 and the development of the faculties in 2020.
After that the members of the Academic Council voted for the awarding of academic titles. In particular
Inna Lozynska was awarded the academic title of the Professor of the Department of Economics and
Entrepreneurship and Rymma Dolbonosova was awarded the academic title of Assistant Professor of the
Department of Therapy, Pharmacology, Clinical Diagnostics and Chemistry.
Vice-rector for Academic Activity Valerii Zhmailov spoke on the issue of awarding students who achieved
the best academic results during the 2019-2020 academic year.
