SNAU signed an agreement with the New Holland Company and the Charity Foundation “Harvest of Victory”, certifying the creation of the first “New Holland Academy” in Ukraine.

The New Holland Company is a partner of Sumy National Agrarian University, with which the University has been cooperating for several years, modernizing the material and technical base. In particular, work with business is oriented toward the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, where future agricultural engineers are educated. The main motto of the partnership is: “To train highly qualified specialists who, in addition to thorough knowledge, will have practical skills.”

Currently, the request of any private company is a young ambitious specialist who will not need to be trained again, who will already have practical skills at work. That is why the cooperation of SNAU with the New Holland Company continues and deepens every year.

During the supervisory board on October 5, 2023 (see https://snau.edu.ua/chergove-zasidannya-naglyadovo%d1%97-radi-za-uchasti-kerivnika-sumsko%d1%97-ova/ ) a tripartite agreement between  Sumy National Agrarian University, the New Holland Company and the “Harvest of Victory” Charity Foundation was signed, which certifies the establishment of the “New Holland Academy” on the basis of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.

The “New Holland Academy” became the first in Ukraine. The Charity Foundation will provide the university with free temporary use of modern machinery, and the New Holland Company will provide an equipment for it.

The New Holland company representatives are convinced:

“Such cooperation will help students learn theoretical knowledge and acquire practical skills in managing the latest agricultural units.”

The Charity Foundation “Harvest of Victory” plans to involve representatives of the organization to participate in lectures in order to talk in more detail about the realities of work in the agrarian field.

The Rector of Sumy National Agrarian University, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Volodymyr LADYKA, expressed his gratitude for the creation of a powerful practical base, which from now on is called the “New Holland Academy”, at a university that is so territorially close to the border of the aggressor country:

“What do you know about trust? In particular, about business trust in education? In our opinion, trust is when one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery in the world opens its first educational and practical base in Ukraine at a university near the border. I am sincerely grateful to the management of New Holland Agriculture for this project! For understanding that a qualified worker can be trained only on a modern material and technical base!”
