On October 26, Sumy National Agrarian University hosted a regular meeting of the Academic Council. It was held in a mixed format: online and offline.
A competition for vacant positions of pedagogical workers was considered. We congratulate our colleagues on passing the competitive selection process.
During the meeting members of the Academic Council considered the following topical issues of the university. Agenda:
- The condition of educational and methodical maintenance of educational process (V. Zhmailov).
- The financial support of the university in 2021. (M. Kovalenko).
- Miscellaneous. The urgent issues of scientific, educational and methodical, organizational activity of structural subdivisions of Sumy NAU were considered.
– On referral for international internship;
– On deductions from postgraduate study;
– On adjusting the topic of dissertation research for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy;
– On approval of dissertation research themes for the degree of Doctor of Sciences;
– On the issuance of diplomas to Doctors of Philosophy to applicants for the third educational and scientific level;
– On the creation of a specialized academic council for one-time defense of the dissertation;
– On conducting a preliminary examination of the dissertation;
– On the recognition of certificates and enrollment in international internships;
– On the recommendation to publish a monograph.
The Academic Council decided to approve amendments to the Regulations on the Council for the Quality Assurance of Educational Activities and the Quality of Higher Education. They approved the Regulations on the Student Committee for Partnership in Quality Education Assurance and the Regulations on Student Appeals.
