GUEST LECTURE BY THE ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF PARIS-SACLAY UNIVERSITY

Students of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Sumy National Agrarian University had the opportunity to acquire knowledge in the field of management and communication in the economy from the associate professor of Paris-Saclay University (France) Elodie Loubaresse. The lecture was held online on October 6.

The online lecture was called “Management and Сommunication in Economics (French experience)” and consisted of several parts. First, Elodie Loubaresse reported on the plan of the presentation and the purpose of the meeting, gave more information about herself, her scientific achievements and goals, the disciplines she teaches at Paris-Saclay University.

The next part was called “Introduction to Management”. The associate professor emphasized the main scientific concepts, explained their meanings and application with specific examples. In addition, during the presentation, Elodie Loubaresse emphasized the aspects of teaching the discipline in France. This information was extremely useful, because the instructors of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Sumy NAU were also present at the meeting.

The third part of the report is “Introduction to Сommunication and Сulture”. How is communication related to management? What are “Claude Shannon’s Communication Model” and “Norbert Wiener’s Model”? What are the levels of culture?

The audience concluded the lecture with free communication with Elodie Loubaresse. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about the report, the professional life and the education system in France. The warm atmosphere, the significant experience of the French colleague and the interest in the material turned the standard “lecture” format into a friendly conversation, from which each student took a maximum of useful professional information.
